Bonham desde muy pequeña tuvo inclinación por la música clásica. En los 90 se inclinó por el Rock (post-grunge, le dicen a su estilo) y añadió el violín a sus canciones.
En 1996, sale su primer disco The Burdens of Being Upright, con Lyricas que giran en torno a su condición femenina.
Destaca su conocida canción Mother, Mother

Destacan: The One, Sharks Can't Sleep, Navy Bean. En fin, todo el disco es bueno.

Better today rather than tomorrow"
Reaparece en el 2000 con nuevo disco, y hasta hoy sigue un estilo más acústico.
